In the world of indoor tanning lotion there is one style of tanning lotion that stands out above all others.  That is a bronzer tanning lotion.  Many people do not know what a bronzer tanning lotion is so hopefully we can enlighten you here.  A bronzer tanning lotion is a tanning lotion (normally designed for a tanning bed) that contains either a self tanner or a bronzer in it.  What this does is it helps speed up the tanning process.  When used correctly a bronzer tanning lotion can really expedite the tanning process and give a nice glow.  If you tend to overuse a bronzer tanning lotion or use one when you do not yet have a decent base tan they have been known to leave a tanner orange colored or streaky.  Overall we highly recommend using a tanning lotion with a bronzer if you are looking for more than a base tan.

    There are several different ingredients that the manufacturers use for bronzers.  They actually fall into true bronzers or cosmetic bronzers.  The true bronzers actually go through a chemical process to tan your skin like the DHA does.  While the cosmetic bronzers actually just color the surface of the skin.  Walnut oil was one of the first ingredients used like this.  Now they use several different types of oils and ingredients.  Food color is even used to obtain a cosmetic bronzer look.  The whole purpose is to give the tanner instant color, while 4 hours later the chemical reaction from the DHA or erythulose can darken or bronze the skin.
